Namsangol Hanok Village
Namsangol Hanok Village is a traditional Korean village located in Pildong. This mini folk village consist a number of restored traditional Korean houses depicting various social classes from the Joseon Dynasty. Inside the house, antique furniture reflects the daily life of their ancestors. A garden with pavilion, a pond and a time capsule makes it perfect to take a walk.
There are souvenir shops where you can buy small dishes and other items. You can have traditional tea and try their traditional games like neolttwigi (see-saw jumping), tuho (arrow throwing) and yunnori (throwing wooden yut sticks). Why not go to see the traditional marriage ceremony at Bak Yeong Hyo’s Residence. But during winter (November to February), only few wedding ceremonies are being held.
