Rain recently posted a very sweet handwritten letter to his fans on instagram announcing his engagement with Kim Tae Hee and thanking them for their support for the past 16 years of his career. He also apologized for not revealing the details of their wedding, because they want it to be quiet and humble as possible.

"Rain" Ji Hoon Jung a South Korean pop star bid farewell to his tearful fans when he entered the military service in Uijeongbu, North of Seoul on October 11, 2011.
Compulsory for all South Korean able-bodied men, he is quite old at 29 to be starting his 21-month service in the army. I hope his popularity in South Korea but also in some other countries will not weaken as time goes by he is out of the public eye.
Sporting a military cut hair, he thanked the fans who were gathered outside the Uijeongbu for the 10 years of love. Some fans flew here from Japan and China just to see him leave.
Rain released seven albums, 19 singles and acted in several Korean drama such as "Sand Doo! Let's Go to School", "Full House", "A Love to Kill", and "The Fugitive: Plan B." He also starred in American films "Speed Racer" (2008) and "Ninja Assassin" (2009). His last film is "Flight: Close to the Sun." He is also named by Time Magazine as one of the most influential people of 2011.

Kim Hyun Joong enjoys unexpected behavior and wants to leave a good memory in Bali that he took off his swimming suit while swimming in a swimming pool with his personal trainer. He was doing underwater when his hips popped out of the water. According to him, he can’t do this kind of stuff in Korea because people notice him always.

After Lee Min-Ho’s car accident reports, Lee Na Young also got into accident. On June 15, Na Young was shooting in North Chungcheon province in the Yeonjae-ri area when Mr. Jung in his Carens vehicle accidentally bumped into Na Young’s BMW motorcycle at 9:17PM on a two lane street. She was filming for the movie “Howling” when the accident happened. She only suffered minor injuries and went home safely after her treatment in a nearby hospital. According to Jung Mo, he didn’t see the indications of movie filming when he collided with Na Young.
Lee Min-Ho, the actor in “Boys Over Flowers” and “Personal Taste” got into a car accident on the set of SBS’s “City Hunter.” On June 13, at around 3:30PM, while Lee Min-Ho is shooting one part of the main scenes, his car suddenly crashed into a parked truck. The front of the car was severely damaged and the airbag opened saving Lee Min-Ho. He and his companion were rushed to Ilsan Hospital. Good thing he didn’t suffer from any major injuries. They stopped the filming and resumed the next day. He was advised to stay home and rest, but he insist to get back to work.
Last March 7, 2011, Korean Actor Hyun Bin, 28, joined the military service in South Korea.
According to Hyun Bin, he received great love and attention from his fans in year 2010. Now that he has been ordered to serve the military, he wants to return the love the fans have given him by serving the military well in 2 years.
Fans from neighboring Asian countries such as Japan and China came to see their idol in front of the Marine Corps training base in Pohang to say goodbye.
He took part in five-week training in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, but before being posted to a unit he had his 5 days holiday and reported back to Incheon on April 27. Fans who waited at the site were a bit disappointed for not seeing him as he entered Incheon in Marine Corps vehicle. Instead, they just wished him all the best.
Hyun Bin took a boat to his post at Baeng Nyeong Do on April 29.
However, the Marine Corps is planning for a photo book featuring Hyun Bin’s military life that is for sale. The reason for this photo book is to promote the Marine Corps. They are expecting to release it at the end of the year.
Many are against it because they see it as if they are exploiting their soldiers and trying to do a business. Though, this is not the main reason why Hyun Bin entered the military.
